Anti-dumping duty on rolling bearings from PRC extended for five years

The Eurasian Economic Commission's Board has extended the anti-dumping duty on rolling bearings (except for needle bearings) from the PRC up to and including March 31, 2029.

"The decision was adopted following a repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Department for Internal Market Defense on April 21, 2023 due to the expiration of the applied measure on the basis of the application submitted by bearing manufacturers from the Eurasian Economic Union countries," noted Andrey Slepnev, EEC Minister in charge of Trade.

The application was filed by such companies as EPK Volzhsky OJSC, EPK Samara OJSC, EPK Saratov JSC, EPK - New Technologies LLC, Stepnogorsk Bearing Plant JSC and EPK-Brenko Bearing Company LLC, and supported by Minsk Bearing Plant OJSC and Vologda Bearing Plant CJSC.

The anti-dumping duty on rolling bearings (except for needle bearings) from the PRC was established in 2011, after which it was extended. The anti-dumping duty rates are currently 31.3% of the customs value for Wuxi Rolling Bearings LLC and 41.5% for other manufacturers.
